Chris Yeh is typically our most astute Lakers fan. However, he passed along a very interesting piece of trivia:
Only once. In 2005-2006, Duncan led the team with 11.9 WP, followed by Ginobili with 10.1 and Parker with 8.6. The team as a whole produced 59.6 wins.
As a follow up:
During the “Big Three” era, how many times did Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker produce the top three season Wins Produced totals during the playoffs for the Spurs?
Only once, in the 2008 playoffs.
One final “Brian Burke Triva-Stat” to end on. In neither year that the “Big Three” lead the Spurs (in playoff or regular season wins) did the Spurs win a title.
